Our Globularia is grown in naturally sculpted gardens in the middle of a forest on a mountain top, overlooking the River L'Ebre and the National Park of Catalunya. 

Our dried Globularia is made up of 1 variety of the Mediterranean Globularia vulgaris. 

Twice a year we harvest the Globularia; once in late winter and once in late summer. 

We harvest the Globularia when the flowering has almost finished and before the peak of new season growth. This means that the Globularia we collect is richer in phytochemicals (plant-based chemicals), especially the alkaloids.

After gathering, sorting and washing in non-chlorinated water, our Globularia is naturally dried using the heat of the sun and the mountain winds, inside a wooden shelter. This is important as the sun's rays will greatly reduce the potency of the dried Globularia.

Shelf life of one year if stored correctly in an airtight (non-plastic) container in a cool, dark dry place.
